    1. +Max DC I believe the fats in olive oil are actually good for you because
      they’re unsaturated. Polyunsaturated fats are essential fats that your body
      needs to function and monounsaturated promote better insulin and blood
      sugar levels. Saturated fats are what you should avoid since they’re
      essentially junk that the body doesn’t need.

    2. Of course u can. If u don’t want to use plain water u can sauté the onions,
      garlic etc….in a small amount of vegetable broth. U don’t need to fry
      anything. I always soak the lentils from the day before so they’re easier
      to cook.

  1. I had a heart attack, a few years back and then a quadruple bypass. All
    before 32yrs of age.
    Although I’m on a sort of veggie diet, as I still eat fish. As the
    information I got was it would help me as they have Omega3 in them.
    But I’m convinced by this talk to go strictly plant-based. Hopefully this
    will improve my health even more. THXS, DOC.

      Sorry to hear about your health scare, hope it’s nothing too serious.
      To answer your question, yes I’ve stuck to my plant- based diet, and it’s
      going great. Their was a slight hiccup with it, as I tried juicing, it
      didn’t really work as I felt nauseous throughout the day.
      But my wife saved the day, as she’s from India, she made delicious veggie
      meals for me every day.
      I wouldn’t go back now, I feel better than I’ve felt in years.
      I’d recommend it strongly, hopefully it can contribute to your good health
      in the future.

      food plant-based lifestyle? What is the biggest challenge for you? What is
      the best result you have experienced?

  2. You say to cut down or remove fish from your diet, yet Japan has some of
    the longest living people in the world, and they most certainly eat fish.
    The reality is there’s more to this situation than “oh yeah, eat these
    foods” and you’ll get rid of heart attacks or live longer…

    1. +BadMannerKorea the Okinawan Japanese have the longest life expectancy, but
      the research shows this is because of half an egg worth of meat per day on
      average in their diets. And of course, diet and exercise play a role as
      well.

      That’s my point. It’s more than just diet. They live longer because they
      also have strong social connections as well, and as you said, they eat less
      overall. And they also eat seafood. Getting rid of fish and all those
      things he mentioned won’t help if you don’t live a balanced life, and it’s
      very possible to live a long time and be healthy while eating fish….

      getting rid of fish from your diet…

  3. Many things in heart (and overall) health is still way over looked. This
    here ^ is one more example of that. “We found indigenous people who had no
    heart disease…, they were plant based” THUS IT MUST BE VEGAN or
    vegetarian diet that defeats heart disease. Wrong! It’s obvious that this
    plant based diet is strongly anti-inflammatory and that prevent most of the
    cardio vascular ailments. It’s not the oils or any individual food…, the
    murderers are inflammation, triglycerides and high blood pressure. These
    can be turned down by healthy lifestyle choices in countless fashion. Plant
    based eating is just one of them.

  4. He lists oils, fats and animal products in his slide, but then says
    “fructose” which is not on the list. Why is that? Fructose is sugar that
    makes fat in the liver. Sugar is half fructose. Why not blame heart disease
    and plaques on sugar and fructose then?

    1. Sugar is not as readily stored into adipose tissue as saturated fat is.
      Sugars and carbs are often turned to glycogen and used as such if you are
      healthy and active.

    history not only heart attacks, but also any other diseases, known on Earth

    Creators from the planet of Nibiru – The Anunnaki, if I am paid 5 billion
    bucks to disclose my discovery – Just 25 million bucks per country in the
    world – As a proof of the power of my discovery, for more than 5 years now,
    I never got sick even of the common cold, my blood sugar level is 300
    mg/dl, but I am not sick of diabetes, for I cannot get sick of it, or of
    any other diseases – I am the healthiest person on the planet, I am
    absolutely free to eat any food I like, no restrictions whatsoever, doing
    my discovery for just a minute a day – The only way on Earth for everybody
    to stay absolutely healthy all the time and of course being Immortal, for
    Infinite Health = Immortality.

  7. What struck me is that the before and after of the coronary arteries is so
    different. Especially the one affected seems to have changed shape and
    place.
