  1. 3 minutes from being posted… I realize that some Leafy fans are still
subbed to this channel to post some edgy anti-vegan comments smh little
    kids.

  2. It’s actually a bit disturbing to see people ignore the point Vegan gains
is making to express their feelings on bacon and steak.

  3. wow thanks richard for showing that you’re human too that was brave of you
i have a lot of respect for you stay strong

    1. Bob Babomb yeah but when you let that one goal consume your life and stake
your self esteem on that goal can be equally dangerous and negative in your
life i have a relative who is addicted to exercise and acts like this i
might be wrong but i call addictions and obsessions a form of self harm

  4. I mean.. you gotta listen to your body… its not like you play a sport or
compete with strength or powerlifting so no need to beat yourself up.. I
understand you wanna reach those goals, but don’t break yourself in the
process haha. I gave up powerlifting and sports a long time ago. I
realized your body cant handle that stuff your entire life. But you can
maintain good health and build knowledge for the rest of your life. Just
throwing that out there, but in the end, its your life and your passions.

    1. I think there might be a lot of Pressure on V.G to get as strong as
possible so that he can represent Veganism even more perhaps? I’m aware
that many Vegans feel pressured to look as healthy and strong as possible

    2. The Potato industry ! True. Well he definitely has potential and a good
foundation to get competitive if thats what he truly wants. But I don’t
think he realizes that there will always be someone stronger. Even vegans!
Take patrik Baboumian for example. Great inspiration right there,
shattering steryotypes! Vegans can represent veganism in so many other ways
besides throwing weights around.. But I guess his issue makes sense cus the
man kindaaa roasted, exposed, and tore all the big names in bodybuilding a
new one so all eyes are on him now hahahaha!!!!

    1. +TeamFigsy he didn’t BLAME his parents, he was explaining what it could
have stemmed from. That’s how most problems arise; something ignited the
insecurity. Don’t be stupid. You’re purposely being negative right from the
get go because all you want to do is disagree and argue

    1. It’s called giving some perspective, and it does help someone to step
outside of their own thought processes and look at them from another angle.
You’ve never lifted weights properly, so you don’t understand.

  5. I appreciate your honesty, Richard. I hear bullies in my head too, I think
it never really goes away. But, being aware of its effects and taking steps
to address them is an excellent tactic to silencing them. Keep it up, proud
    of you

  6. My dad has the same damn problem. He’s 61 years old trying to compete with
the 20-30 year olds in the gym. At one point, he just flat out fainted in
the middle of the gym and we got a call from the ER. The doctors told him
to take it easy for the next few weeks, but then he’s back in the gym THREE
days later! He recently ruptured his appendix and had to get it removed,
and the doctors told him it would take 3-4 weeks to heal, but guess what?
He’s back in the gym the NEXT WEEK! There’s just no reasoning with people
like this most times..I think it’s a serious issue. Hope you get well!

    1. Thanks for all the responses guys. I think my dad is afraid of getting old,
or doesn’t want to be reminded of it. I think it makes him feel…younger?
Complete? More masculine? I don’t know.. He would never talk about his
insecurities with me. He thinks I wouldn’t understand..he’s probably right
      to be honest.

    2. +Markersable But you have to help him and guide him ! don’t let him do
whatever he wants ! if you really love him, because as people get older
they tend to do stupid stuff or just don’t care … so always be with him.

  7. Gym gains and PRs is a plague man. I used to fucking abuse pre workouts and
ignore shoulder pain for maxes. Now I just work out to feel good and I do
medium to low weight and my shoulders feel 10 times better.

    1. yeah I am. It kinda sucks, but I couldn’t keep up at the rate I was
eating/pushing my joints. One day youll be 40 and fucked.
