Waking up was hard! I could hear everyone just fine and my mind seemed totally alert except for some sleeping spells. My mouth has never been so dry in my life! Getting the breathing tube was nice but it is hard to describe or portray the amount of pain and discomfort that I was in.

  1. I like how the lady (wife?) understands every single gesture and whispers
of him <3 .. Hope you recovered fully by now dude

  2. Pain pill? Is he not on pain medication intravenously? I had heart problems
but we’re able to get it under control before surgery was needed

  3. Why did you still have the breathing tube after you wake up from the
anesthesia? I thought they took it out before the patient wakes up.

    1. Hi! My mom just had open heart surgery a little over a week ago. The reason
why this man still has breathing tubes in after surgery is because he is
still under anesthesia. His brain is not awake enough to tell his lungs to
breathe. They cannot reverse the side effects of anesthesia on an open
heart patient like they can with any regular surgical patient because the
medicine they give you to reverse it will raise your heart rate. When it
comes to open heart surgery, the patient always has to sleep it off.

  4. This guy is rather young to have a heart surgery.

I replied ”youpee” when I woke up from my triple bypass surgery and the
nurse said that everything went well.
During that operation I dreamed that I navigated on a map and got stung by
a needle when I pointed my finger on a large city.

Almost no pain or inconfort the days after. I had the feeling to be like a
trussed piece of meat or a salami due to stiches on my chest.

The worst thing I had to deal with was a heavy delirium that I can describe
as the scariest experience of all my life.

  5. That had to have been the most frightening time in your life. I’m so happy
to see that you have such a great since of humor so soon after your
surgery. The positive attitude you have will help you heal much faster for
sure. I’ve never had heart surgery, but I have had both several major and a
couple of minor surgeries(on my intestines) because of Crohns Disease
complications. I see that it’s been a while since you had that surgery, but
I love seeing all of the love and support from your family because that too
played a big role in your quick recovery. How afraid were you going into
surgery, knowing that they would stop your heart? I hope that you continue
to do well, and that GOD will always bless you and your family,as are my
    continued prayers.

  6. My father has Open heart surgery on 31 oct 2016 .Please pray for him. I
wish when i see him after the surgery he is fully recovered and healthy .

  7. l had a heart surgery in May 2016 and I’m doing well,a had a large secondum
ASD, Thank u Lord forgiving my life back

    1. Great to hear you are doing well! Life the second time around isn’t without
challenges, however the extra time on earth is defiantly a blessing!
