    1. Im just saying basing your beliefs on health is not very solid. People
drink and smoke even if it”s not healthy all he time…even a health
advocate might may drink or smoke when they are depressed. It’s the same
when it comes to eating if your only do it for health. Anyways, not saying
its a bad motivation, just not very good when it comes to diets because
people make up dumb cheat days and whatnot.

    2. Ahaha lol it caused me to go Vegetarian as well. Although I was already
planning on it and was only eating meat products like 1/2 times a week.

    3. Ahaha lol it caused me to go Vegetarian as well. Although I was already
planning on it and was only eating meat products like 1/2 times a week. MP

  1. He’s right lol
And my blood test results prove my cholesterol levels before and after 1
    MONTH vegan.
    Cut by 2/3.

    1. +Ethiopian Pride Hahaha Please tell me what did u eat? like a daily
mealplan please! I would really like to know how you almost died .

  2. Lol moments after a heart disease charity worker just knocked at my door
asking for money saying I’m highly likely gonna get it LOL

    1. +veggyman96 Thanks for that but watching a pig being slaughtered was a job
I once did along with the slaughter of many other animals through my life.
Its a past I hate but was considered normal. The life of a farmer is brutal
and I can see why so many ex farmers are vegan like myself.

    1. +Dingus McBingus The evidence is so empirical that it’s a HYPOTHESIS, which
means it could be wrong. What’s an empirical FACT is that we NEED saturated
fats and cholesterol. We would die without them. This is NOT a hypothesis,
this is a FACT that no scientist can disagree with, unlike with the lipid
      hypothesis, which has detractors.

We know that if two people eat identical diets that they can have different
cholesterol levels. Why? If it’s the amount of saturated fats causing the
cholesterol levels then if two people eat identical diets that are high in
saturated fats, they should have identical cholesterol levels.

Saying meat is bad for you is as dumb as saying water is bad for you. No,
contaminated meat shot up with antibodies and growth hormones and that’s
fed on GMO grains is bad for you, just like contaminated water is bad for
      you.

It’s not the cholesterol or saturated fats that’s the problem. AS I said,
those are ESSENTIAL substances that we would die without. The problem is
the antibodies and hormones and poor diets of the cows, which produces
contaminated meat / dairy which destroys our guts and digestive systems.

The reason two people can eat identical diets and have different
cholesterol levels is the same reason two people can eat identical diets
and one person be skinny and one person be fat.

The thing that determines your health is your digestive system. Just
because you eat something doesn’t mean your body HAS to absorb it. In fact,
we only absorb a small percent of cholesterol that we eat.

“30 cohort and case-control studies including more than 300 000 individuals
have found that coronary patients have not eaten more saturated fat before
their first heart attack than others (1). More at odds is that in at least
seven cohort studies stroke patients had eaten significantly less. There is
no support from autopsy studies either: low-consumers are just
      asatherosclerotic as high-consumers (1), and a meta-analysis of the
controlled, randomised dietary clinical trials found no effect of reducing
saturated fat, either on coronary morbidity, coronary mortality, ortotal
      mortality (1).”

For more, Google: The fallacies of the lipid hypothesis.

    2. Cholesterol can kill you so it must be bad for you. Vitamin D can kill you
so it must be bad for you.
This logic is great, so black and white. SO SIMPLE
Yet people eat Cholesterol with a Mediterranean diet? Maybe; idk… THEY
      EAT THE RIGHT AMOUNT?
Here’s some more “empirical data” smart guy.

    3. +Gama Isora
The whole point is that too much cholesterol is bad for you and eggs as an
example are extremely saturated with it. Not saying you eat 1 egg and die.

    4. +Ryan Oglesby
The point is to stop eating all animal products. In the right amounts
animal products are good for you. Do you agree?

  3. I now accept that eating meat, in this day and age, is not good for you.
Not gonna become Vegan yet, because I am a moron, I suppose. But at least I
    accept this.

    1. +orasis I am not saying meqt has nothing to do with heart disease i am
saying vegan gains is not giving the full picture. As i have said before
unprocessed meat has been found to uave a considerable low level of risk
compared to processed meat. We apso can nit forget the benefit of meqt such
carnitine and carnosine are both both goid for you as glycation inhibitors
or prevention of oxidation irradiated meat.

    2. My advice would be to simply balance your diet. As you have said a watched
diet reduces the risk of heart disease.

    3. +Mohsen “Ⓥicious” Abasi Ethics is a lame excuse mainly because of the fact
that we create our ethics. ethics is not something that a foundation of
rrsonncan be placed upon, though necessary for the swje of society it can
not be seen as static it can change and evolve with us and as such cannot
be looked upon as evidence. Inam not saying mistreatmentbis ok, as i have
said we need certain rules for the sake of society but rest is bullshit.

Your right… but i haven’t said otherwise but a vegan diet isn’t the only
      way of reversing atherosclerosis
      http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/arteriosclerosis-atherosclerosis/diagnosis-treatment/treatment/txc-20167054

i am nit going to explain my point again juwt scroll up.

    1. +The Broccoli Industry How do you grow your products? Cuz now i’m eating
one raw and it… smells like chemicals. Are you on steroids?

    2. *High blood pressure is a condition that makes the heart work harder than
normal. And left untreated, it scars and damages your arteries and can lead
to heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, *.*Here A 100% safe, and proven
way to lower your blood pressure quickly and permanently just in 17 days*

    1. It’s disliked because you have to do some fact checking. you can’t just
take his word for it. he has been known to misrepresent studies. saying
they say one thing when they actually say the opposite. it’s misleading but
since most people never bother to fact check and assume it’s true.

    2. +Andrew Steinke good, but take it one step further. Look to see if there
are any studies showing the opposite too. Many studies show vegetarians
live longer, others show no correlation. Some show vegetarians have lower
occurrences of cancer…yet the raw data from the China study showed they
actually had a slightly higher rate of cancer but the summary was fudged to
say they didn’t. The point is read the entire study, not just the summary.
Watch out for double correlations. It’s a common tactic. A is related to B
and B is related to C so A must be related to C is a false correlation. For
instance, tall people play pro basketball, pro basketball players are rich
thus tall people must be rich. Double correlations like that are all too
common in propoganda studies no matter who it came from. The China study
      was filled with these.

    3. +Tom Pham to add on to your point unprocessed red meag has been found to
have little to no effect on atherosclerosis.

  4. Yup, literally had some dumbass last week tell me that they read ONE study
off of my 50 page pdf doc filled with research, and concluded that
saturated fat and cholesterol don’t contribute to heart disease. No, she
won’t take a blood test and nope, she will not switch out of a paleo diet.
Yeesh. Oh well, I guess she’ll have to get heart disease to figure it out.
    :/

    1. +Mr_anonymous_ sub No they are not but it is not because the sugar is
different, it is the way that the sugar is delivered that is. Fruits and
Vegetables (interestingly enough) contain exactly all of the components
that make the sugars digest properly unlike junk food/drinks, lacking in
the aforementioned, that just send our insulin into a ‘tizzy’ that causes
many health problems including diabetes. Personally I cannot understand why
people would rather reach for a cola rather than some blueberries, peach or
orange the latter taste much, much better.

(If you cannot understand please note that I am currently under the
      influence of alcohol. :)

    2. +Mr_anonymous_ sub No I am not and I do not know why someone who studied
nutrition would even question what I have said. Google – Sucrose.

    1. +HeartX all fat should be kept low other than the essentials (plant derived
omega 3, 6) which should be eaten at the level to prevent defficiency.
carbohydrates become all sorts of things once ingested: glucose, glycogen,
etc. fuel for the body to move and the brain to operate basically. if you
eat a terrible excess and don’t move then i suppose it can be stored as fat
in the body which i think is what you are trying to get at, but this is
almost unheard of in people eating whole foods starch based.

    1. Prophet – That was actually a well thought out reply, and I thank you for
that. I have done a little research and most of the issues with low
testosterone in veganism seem to be due to nutrient deficiencies such as
zinc. Both vegans and non-vegans can have deficiencies and diets should be
      planned accordingly.

However, I’ve also seen information citing that vegans can have higher
testosterone levels then both meat eaters and vegetarians. The issue with
high testosterone is it can be contributory to elevated cancer risk, and
yet vegans tend to show higher testosterone and lower cancer risk. I saw a
video dedicated to how plant based diets decrease risk of breast and
prostate cancer as well as prostate enlargement issues while elevating
testosterone levels that was done by Dr. Michael Gregor.

There is also contradictory information out there about whether or not
vegans who consume more soy products are elevating serum estrogens through
consumption of phytoestrogens… I personally no longer consume soy
products although I am not convinced of an actual link (especially if
eating less processed, non-gmo soy). However it is a fact that when you
consume animal flesh or especially dairy products, you consume massive
amounts of estrogen and other female pregnancy hormones, not to mention
whatever other antibiotics or other junk the animals are injected with to
make your food less likely to kill you. Let’s face it when there’s poop in
your meat (which I think tests showed 100% of randomly sampled beef tested
      positive for feces – either 2014 or 2015 study… can’t remember, also 30%
of the samples showed other harmful bacteria in the meat… so make sure
you eat that crap well done) and blood and pus in your milk, they need to
do something to make it edible (like pasteurize it or pump it full of
      antibiotics).

Anyway, even the world health organization recognizes that vegan diets are
appropriate for all humans from pregnancy and birth to old age as more
studies are slowly coming in. It’s been proven you can get all the
nutrients you need to be healthy on a plant-based lifestyle, so I’d rather
get my nutrients straight from the plants… not from the animals who
themselves got it from the plants… I love animals too much to needlessly
put them to slaughter. Plus this animal agriculture thing is killing the
planet, so bonus! I contribute to less greenhouse gas production without
      even trying :)

    2. We will, and just because you don’t eat meat will not stop you getting
      Cancer or Heart disease.

    1. cause Yolo and meat tastes amazing. we are all going to die one day, I’d
rather die happy than die a miserable hateful vegan forcing my beliefs onto
      everyone.

    2. +Darth Ren I guess as long as I inject myself with heroine, smoke weed
everyday, fap continioulsy and drink coke and never exercise, I’ll live a
      worthy nice life.

Why don’t you tell everyone at the gym to stop exercising, because in the
      end it doesn’t matter?

    3. +Phanteus Do what makes you happy bro, that’s what matters. So no, people
should go to the gym because it’s makes people happy including myself.

    4. Because it’s how much you eat not what you eat. I eat a balanced diet that
includes meat and guess what I’m incredibly healthy 😮 what a shock! Oh and
      meat is delicious!

  5. People are so stupid. You shouldn’t even need to make a video about this in
the year 2016. The science was settled decades ago.

    1. No one cares you’re vegan and I expect you to be all butthurt because
that’s what you vegans do and now you chose not to make your butthurt known
so you probably act civil about it and go on telling more people about you
      being vegan. You’re so predictable.

    2. +Vegan Jerry where was the science settled? How would people know how to
find the science? I certainly wasn’t taught

    3. +Vegan Jerry I’ve seen it. You said we shouldn’t need to make a video like
this. I disagree, without it how would you come to know!?

    4. +brassic5 Good point. The truth is out there, if people really want to
discover it. Many people can’t handle the truth though.
