  1. Should spinach be each raw or steamed. Which of these methods raises the
level of oxalates which block calcium absorption.

    1. +sarahgittel Sufficient heat will destroy some (but not all) oxalic acid,
which is what you want in order to be able to absorb magnesium and other
minerals as much as possible. It seems to be a trade off between raw
spinach for vitamins or cooked for minerals, since spinach is high-oxalate
but boiling/steaming removes water soluble vitamins.

  2. I’ve been having heart palpitations and I started eating Spinach again.
It’s my go to health food. I’m also taking three magnesium supplements. I
went back to pop with caffeine and I am still getting the heart
palpitations. I’m going to keep drinking caffeine until I can find
something to get rid of this!

    1. +George Louis I had the same problem. It was high levels of uranium from my
well water. I spent $700 testing the water for hundreds of chemicals, but
not for uranium. Get a hair elements test from Doctors Data (through a
health professional). Don’t do blood or urine testing. Any heavy metal can
produce cardiac arrhythmia, since it interferes with the use of Ca++ and
Mg++. If you have heavy metals, detox for it. I did it with cilantro and
NAC. I had to switch to distilled water to completely get rid of the
arrhythmia. Get your minerals from your food, not water. Too many toxins in
tap water to just filter it. Distill it. Improve excretion of toxins with
epsom salts baths or saunas. Any sauna that makes you sweat. – I never had
      to give up my coffee:-)

It used too but not anymore. If I eat only pizza then I can’t handle
caffeine. I have to eat healthy foods too then caffeine is no problem for
      me.

  3. Bicarbonate of soda is the same thing as baking soda. Just names used for
the same thing in different cultures. Baking powder is different.

  4. You have gotten your seeds wrong. The picture shown in this video is
sunflower seed. Pumpkin seeds are flatter and bigger.

    1. I apologise Michael, they are not sunflower seeds, but these must be a
different kind of pumpkin because most of them are flat and these on the
pictures are a little chubby if you will…but not a problem. Your video is
      very informative. Namaste brother.

    2. It’s not my video, but I was just shopping pumpkin seeds yesterday. I
      wasn’t challenging you negatively. Namaste.

  5. According to information in The Magnesium Miracle, brown rice has 88mg per
100g. And when I put it into Google it said pumpkin seeds have 262mg per
100g which is exactly half of what you said. So which figures are right?
